Joan Miró. A força da matéria, organized by Fundació Joan Miró in Brazil, opens at Museu de Arte de Santa Catarina, in Florianópolis.
The show will be open until November 15. Joan Miró. A força da matéria has received 397.134 visitors in the Tomie Ohtake Institute in São Paulo, where has been exhibited between May 24 and August 16. Joan Miró. A força da matéria highlights the will of Miró of reaching the purity of art by exploring beyond conventional painting. The exhibition illustrate the constant experimentation with techniques, media and different procedures that led him to the development of a new culture of matter. Under the direction of Rosa Maria Malet, the Fundació Joan Miró in Barcelona organizes this exhibition that brings together 114 works including paintings, drawings, sculptures and graphic made between 1931 and 1981.
