Rosana Antolí

Rosana Antolí closes the 2015-16 Cycle at the Fundació Joan Miró’s Espai 13 with an exhibition in movement in which she invites the audience to be her dancing partner.

Antolí explores the choreography of bodies running through the different systems of everyday norms and wonders whether it is possible to produce a continuous movement within these structures. Drawing, installation, video and performance are the media used by the artist to pinpoint the pauses and variations inherent to all human movement and to stir up our acquired gestures and rituals, including those that form part of the exhibition.

Curated by Martí Manen, this cycle at Espai 13 for the 2015-16 season reflects on aspects related to temporality, process and production in contemporary artistic practice.
