The Fundació Joan Miró hosts the launch of the book Self-Organization. DIY Practices, edited by Antonio Ortega, a genealogy of do it yourself artistic practices from the sixties to the present.
His overview is accompanied by reflections on the context of self-organization by art historian Pilar Bonet, social researcher Rubén Martínez Moreno and artist Quim Packard. Published by the Fundació Joan Miró, the book also includes illustrations by the painter Pere Llobera.
The launch of Self-Organization. DIY Practices will take place at the Jacques Dupin Library, Fundació Joan Miró, on Thursday 10 march 2016, at 7 pm. With the participation of Antonio Ortega, Pilar Bonet, Pere Llobera, Rubén Martínez Moreno, and Quim Packard.
