Amnesty, human rights and art
Dear friend,
The families of political prisoners in Catalonia have decided to organise a series of public events whose aim is to express the feelings of an entire people in favour of a total political amnesty.
One of these events, which we consider to be of great importance because of its nature and purpose, is an exhibition entitled Human Rights, Amnesty and Art, to be held at the Fundació Joan Miró between 27 September and 14 October this year under the kind auspices of the following organisations:
- Friends of the UN
- Friends of UNESCO Club
- Association of Graduates and Doctors
- Association of Doctors
- Congress of Catalan Culture
- Federation of Human Rights
- Federation of Neighbourhood Associations
- Òmnium Cultural
- Pax Christi
We would therefore like to ask you to provide one of your works to be exhibited alongside those of other Catalan artists.
Because of the time needed to organise such an exhibition, if you accept our request, please send us your reply as soon as possible, indicating the title and characteristics of the work.
