In their project for Espai 13, Gideonsson / Londré explore the idea of verticality, focusing on the feelings of isolation that human beings experience at the vertical limit or in the death zone, the terms used by mountain climbers to refer to very high altitudes where the level of oxygen in the blood drops drastically.

Lisa Gideonsson and Gustaf Londré are Swedish visual artists who have worked as an artistic duo since 2009. In their practice, they often engage with aspects such as temporality, body, and the environment, exploring the relationships established between these elements through performance, video, installation, and text.
