The paintings of Alfons Borrell (Barcelona, 1931) have gradually developed as an expressive body of work of great intensity and solidity.
Alfons Borrell. Works and Days brings together over one hundred paintings spanning sixty years of intense, constant work, in a non-chronological approximation adopting the form and methodology of an essay. The exhibition is divided into seven study sections offering new readings and confrontations that reveal some of the attitudes and positions of the author toward art as a life experience.
