Joseph Grigely, who lost his hearing as a child as a result of an accident and later studied at Oxford University, uses his conversations and notes written on scraps of paper as the raw material for his work, in which he deals very subtly with the subject of communication.
In this exhibition specially designed for the Espai 13, Grigely starts from two premises: subtlety and the circulation of information. He uses a photo of Miró with his family, a few friends and his dealer, Aimé Maeght, with the word "information" superimposed on it in very small letters to show that the information provided by this picture is very subtle. This picture will be displayed around the city. Grigely will also be doing an intervention in the lobby of the Foundation.
