Fundació Joan Miró initiates the Celebration of its 50th Anniversary

On june 19, the presentation event for the 50th Anniversary of Fundació Joan Miró took place, presented by Òscar Dalmau. The commemorative event brought together more than 200 people, including notable authorities such as Xavier Marcé, along with patrons and collaborators. Under the slogan For the People of Tomorrow, the Fundació evoked past times to inspire and celebrate the near future.

The event revealed the plans for the Fundació’s 50th anniversary, such as the 50th-anniversary exhibition, which will be held between June 2025 and March 2026. This anniversary will commemorate the period from the Fundació’s opening in June 1975 to its first inauguration in 1976.
