These two artists have burst onto the emerging music scene in Catalonia. They share an individual approach to music that reveals a sensitivity towards their personal experiences and in which they combine the sounds of auteur pop and electronic music.

Ven'nus will be presenting her new EP Post-Mullet, which she describes as generational self-criticism: 'we cling to the look of the moment just as we cling to the present. With passion and certainty but with little precision. We want it all without holding on to anything, and nostalgia continues to fill our "disposable" reels of photos that we love even before we've taken them.'

Xicu's most recent long work was his album Blau (2022), in which he talks about sadness and loneliness, with love as a constant in his self-destruction that is all the darker and more powerful live. He has recently released his EP 22 (2023), featuring Teuma Thug, Julieta and Galgo Lento.
