During World War II, Lee Miller worked as a photojournalist for Vogue magazine. She covered the London Blitz and the liberation of Paris, and documented the horrors of Buchenwald and Dachau. The discussion will include testimonies from journalists who have experienced the reality of war first-hand.
Moderator: Rosa Maria Calaf (journalist and writer, RTVE correspondent in the USA, Moscow and Asia, among other places). Participants: Sandra Balsells (independent photojournalist and lecturer at Ramon Llull University; she photographed the Balkan war and produced reports in Palestine, Mozambique and Haiti); and Alba Sotorra (director and producer of documentaries such as Commander Arian, which recounts the time she spent with the Women's Defence Units, YPJ, fighting against Daesh in Rojava, Syria).
