CrossingLines
Trànsit
Concert Sampler Series, in collaboration with L'Auditori
Program
CrossingLines performs a selection of premières by prominent Catalan composers at the Fundació Joan Miró. Trànsit completes the participation of the ensemble in Sampler Sèries this season, which began with Spanish Paradox, and is based on the idea of migration, of creators in movement within a globalised setting. In this case, Trànsit focuses on the new generation of Catalan composers.Hèctor Parra (Barcelona, 1976), a Catalan composer established in Paris, premières a piece written especially for CrossingLines. Rounding off the programme are new works by Oliver Rappoport (Malaga, 1980), a composer and co-director of Festival Mixtur, and by Fabià Santcovsky (Barcelona, 1989), a composer living in Berlin and recently acknowledged in the Toru Takemitsu Composition Award.
