Yarn bombing action at the Fundació Joan Miró. Yarn bombing is an urban art form that uses knitted fabrics to make interventions targeting street furniture and the landscape of cities.
We invite you to bring samples of crochet work created with any material and by any technique in order to make a collective intervention in the different areas of the Foundation.
Free activity. Free entry to the collection for all participants in the activity. Guided tour at 12.30 pm.
This action is organised within the context of the Sobreteixims section of the Joan Miró collection and it seeks to offer a modern interpretation of the importance of popular art and collaboration with artisans in Miró's work.
