Workshop: Understanding by drawing

The Fundació Joan Miró officially opened on 10 June 1975, the work of the architect Josep Lluís Sert, a disciple of Le Corbusier. The result of the relationship between the artist and the architect, the building aims to preserve and display Miró's work and disseminate contemporary art. Espai 13 is dedicated to emerging artists.
Its archive houses an important collection of more than 14,000 pieces. Its most relevant part is a set of sketches, notes, graphic work, collector's books, models, projects and documentary material by Miró.
An activity that is part of Architecture Weeks 2025.
