Kika Superputa is a transvestite project that explores fear as a negative emotion to be hidden and overcome, the villainization of otherness in TV and cinema, and the obsession with beauty and 'polished' products.
In dialogue with the Waiting Room mediation space by the artists Anna Irina Russell and Clàudia del Barrio, Kika will represent an aspect that is often invisible but almost always present: fear. It will invade and disrupt this space of deceleration like an evil figure, like an inner voice that appears in moments of rest to impregnate us with doubts and blockages.
Kika is positioned as an otherness in the environment in which she is inserted in order to dramatise and at the same time comically normalise this fear that invades us during creative processes, although it loses its strength when it is shared collectively.
