Once again, the Fundació Joan Miró joins Viu Montjuïc, with an Open Day and and and a participatory activity. On October 6th, you will be able to visit the Joan Miró Foundation for free and discover the Miró Collection and the exhibitions of Espai 13, the museum’s Archive and the photography at the foyer.
On the other hand, you can also enjoy Would You Love Me If I Were an Insect? for free, a proposal by Clàudia del Barrio and Anna Irina Russell. They offer a participatory action tour in different locations of the Parc de Montjuïc, allowing us to observe the behaviors and embody the various life cycles of the mayfly, an insect that, despite having a brief life, plays an essential role in aquatic ecosystems. The activity creates a space for the collective slowing down of our bodies and invites reflection, through play and the absurdity of everyday life, on the transience of time and the importance of affection and friendship.
An activity that is part of the 'Viu Montjuïc 2024' programme.
