The Fleeting Body

In The Fleeting Body, the Dominican artists Lizette Nin and María Monegro address topics such as the migrant black body, the cost of migration and female self-care.

As the starting point, the two artists take the story of a boat carrying Dominican migrants that capsized near Puerto Rico and, from there, they carry out a performance that establishes a parallel with African emigration to Europe.

Through a choreography in which the braids of the two artists melt into an embrace, the action will allude to the connection of traditions between continents.
