2024 International Museum Day and Night of the Museums at the Miró
This year, International Museum Day and Night of the Museums fall on the same day, Saturday 18 May 2024. A full day when you'll be able to enjoy from 10.00 in the morning to 1.00 the following morning all the open spaces and exhibitions currently on display at the Fundació Joan Miró:
- The new presentation of the Joan Miró Collection.
- The exhibition Our Ghosts Live in the Future.
- The exhibition in Espai 13, Butterfly Logic by Inari Sandell, part of the We will keep each other company when it grows dark season.
- The exhibition in the foundation's Archive, Opening the Archive 02.
And, as always, you will be able to enjoy the building designed by Josep Lluís Sert, the museum's rooftop terraces and courtyards, and the services of the cafeteria, bookshop and gift shop.
During the day, there will be screenings in Room 22 of various dance performances connected with the war, a project in collaboration with the Escola Oriol Martorell and the Museu Picasso, as part of the Miró-Picasso exhibition.
