Activities at the Fundació Joan Miró
Montjuïc Celebrates a Week of Culture, Nature, and Leisure, Open to Everyone in the City
Experience Montjuïc. The Culture Park is an initiative in which the venues in Montjuïc offer a variety of cultural and leisure activities so that Barcelona's residents can rediscover the park and make it their own. The Fundació Joan Miró offers a program of guided tours and activities on Sunday, 17 October.
Montjuïc is a tapestry of paths, trails and tracks that have been crossing the mountain ever since ancient times. We suggest that you head down some of them to discover Montjuïc mountain and walk your way to the Fundació Joan Miró. It's an opportunity to enjoy art and nature from the very beginning of your outing.

Miró Universe, a Family Visit in Catalan
At 11:30 a.m.
Joan Miró's universe is inhabited by lines, spots, moons, stars and colours. In this tour of the exhibition rooms we will explore his works and use our voice and movement to discover the world that he created.
A/P (Artist's Proof), a Family Visit in Catalan
At 12 noon
An activity aimed at discovering Joan Miró's work processes. While we visit the exhibition rooms, we will experiment with different techniques - drawing, collage, blotches of ink - and play with objects. Just as Miró did, we will jot down these actions in a workbook that we will then use as a starting point to create pieces of our own.

Inside Outside Far Inside Performances
11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Set of performances held along the way from the Mercat de les Flors to the Fundació Joan Miró
Led by Quim Bigas with six artists to be determined
The artists will establish an organic connection between the Mercat de les Flors and the Fundació Joan Miró against the backdrop of the Montjuïc landscape. Performances will unfold at different points along the way between the two venues. They will move from one point to the next, along the lines of the Dancing Museums: The Democracy of Beings project, which they have been sharing over the past few months.
Jointly organized by the Sants-Montjuïc district, the Barcelona Institute of Culture and the Department of Tourism and Creative Industries.
