This activity introduces visitors to the world of architecture through one of the finest examples of twentieth century Catalan architecture, the Fundació Joan Miró building, designed by Josep Lluís Sert and declared a Site of Cultural Interest.
The guided tour takes visitors through the Fundació's emblematic spaces (courtyards, exhibition rooms, terrace, library), highlighting the most significant aspects of Sert's design.
A tactile model of the building and various formwork models help to provide a greater understanding of how the spaces are distributed and the process whereby concrete is obtained.
