Video Game Club

The Video Game Club is an informal group of people interested in video games, not only as forms of entertainment, but also as tools of knowledge, who meet regularly to create a common space out of playing and reflecting on video games.

On this occasion, the Video Games Club, in collaboration with the researcher and cultural communicator Estela Ortiz, will speak openly about liminal spaces and waiting rooms in video games and other virtual communities, linking them to the main idea that forms the backbone of the mediation space created by the artists Clàudia del Barrio and Anna Irina Russell, and in dialogue with the MiróMatisse. Beyond Images exhibition.

They will visit several digital 'lobbies' during this conversation and, while waiting there, reflect on the social and community element that takes place in these spaces.
