Marga Sala biography

Marga Sala (Barcelona, Spain, 1967) graduated in Economics and Business Sciences from the University of Barcelona (1991). She has pursued her professional career in a number of fields, among them auditing, publishing and consultancy work, and she is an expert in managing research in biomedicine and the life sciences. In 2012, she joined the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB) as its general administrator, focusing on the organisation, administration and management of this major scientific institution’s human and financial resources and its assets. She was appointed Managing Director of the Fundació Joan Miró in April 2024.
