Mironins

Mironins is a transmedia initiative that seeks to encourage children to have a more intimate and lively relationship with art. Currently Mironins has expanded into a research and innovation project whose aim is to create pioneering ways to make connections, participate and learn in the museum environment through digital technologies.

Weaving Family Stories

Over the last three years, the Fundació has been collaborating with the Escola Mossèn Jacint Verdaguer, in the Poble-sec neighbourhood, implementing innovative educational practices that encourage cross-cutting work and stress the importance of the artistic process for all areas of learning.

Fabulous Women

"Fabulous Women" is a collaborative project between the Escola Poble-Sec and the Fundació Joan Miró. Every academic year, a group of 6th-grade primary school students works on the life and work of an artist.

A photography project linked to the exhibition Lee Miller and Surrealism in Britain. The title highlights the overlap in time among the participants, who also share a creative affinity: some, as photographers; others, as visual artists.
